We are seeking a dedicated School Counselor to support students across K-12 grades in Arlington, TX. This part-time position begins in the spring semester (January) with work initially scheduled two days per week, offering the potential to transition into a full-time role. The contract spans the academic year, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and counseling services to students addressing academic, career, and personal/social development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success and well-being.
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions tailored to student needs.
- Assist with crisis intervention and referral services as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
Preferred Qualifications And Experience
- Licensed or credentialed school counselor with experience working in K-12 education.
- Strong understanding of counseling methods and student support strategies.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
- Bilingual candidates are highly preferred to better serve our multicultural community.
